The concept of the free-standing bathtub is rooted in history, but has become a go-to for eclectic, bohemian vibes and easy-going bathroom luxury. From clawfoot bathtubs to sleeker metal numbers, I love how these tubs are the focal point in each of these unique bathrooms. The free-standing tub is adaptable to so many styles, and although I left out the more minimal side to this spectrum, I really think when it comes to bathrooms there’s a great opportunity to do something special. Bathrooms can be the perfect space to get playful with moody palettes and dramatic contrasts, or they can be glamorous and reflective, like Jenni Kayne’s stylish bathroom above. You can some great bathtub reviews here. How would you style your tub?
